 Not Compatible With Asus Eee PC 900HA Despite DescriptionJan 21, 2011

I purchased this as a replacement battery for my Asus Eee PC 900HA. First off the battery is not the same size as the original battery, it's much "taller" despite being the same number of cells as the original. I wasn't too upset with the battery sticking out the back of the machine, but more upset about the ports to connect the battery not lining up. The 900HA has 7 metal prongs and 2 plastic prongs to connect the battery. The battery here has 9 metal prongs and 2 plastic prongs. In other words, while this battery slides properly into the battery slot (albeit sticking out much more than the original)... the battery doesn't connect properly to the port on the 900HA. IF YOU HAVE A 900HA, DO NOT BUY THIS. IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE.

Bought this battery for the Asus 900HA. As Mike says, it doesn't come close to fitting.
I doubt that this battery would fit any of the Asus models that it's advertised to fit.

The product arrived ahead of schedule in good condition. Installation was easy
and works without error. Was glad to be able to send old memory stick to
company for recycling without charge.
