Non-functioning unit, poor return policyMar 05, 2009

The battery sent to me was non-functioning. I don't know whether this was a design flaw, or a defect in my item only. Regardless, please note that this seller does not offer credit for return shipping costs. I emailed them 4 days ago to request a credit, since I don't believe I should be responsible for paying in any way for a defective item. I have not yet received a response.

Product as ordered from Comptick is described as compatible with Asus Eee 2G Surf. I ordered it for this unit and it did not fit in the battery compartment: grooves on replacement battery were different from the original and the length of the battery itself was longer than the original. To their credit, Comptick was good about providing me with a free UPS shipping return label via email, but I wouldn't have ordered it if the listing had been correct.
