A Piece of Heavy Plastic GarbageAug 08, 2008
For potential customers, you should know that this battery IS NOT an Asus battery, and it doesn't seem like this company spends a lot of time ensuring proper compatibility of their product with the Asus laptop. I charged this battery for an entire day, and the laptop did not even stay on when I unplugged the adapter, which means the battery does not hold a charge. To return this item, the company is insisting that I have to pay the shipping costs for the return. So I've just paid TWO shipping costs for wasting my time. I rank both the product and the company as a zero out of five and I don't think Amazon should be endorsing this company if they want to maintain a trustworthy reputation. For electronics, I'm sticking to brand name products.
